(Rockland, Maine) – The Rockland Kiwanis Club is hosting the 18th
Annual Special Olympics Pot Luck Supper on Thursday, April 12, 2007
at 6pm a St. Bernard’s Church in Rockland. Everyone is invited to

The Rockland Kiwanis Club has been organizing this benefit supper
for 18 years to raise money to send our local Special Olympic

proceeds go to the Knox County Special Olympics to help fund the
summer games in Orono. It will help pay for transportation to and
from the games, housing, food, and whatever other expenses are
involved in attending the summer games.
This program provides a way for mentally handicapped children and
adults to participate in track and field and winter sports at their
own level. The Special Olympics of Maine brings together handicapped
athletes from all schools and workshops within the State.
