11/3/05 Friends, colleagues and local organizations teamed up for a benefit supper and silent auction for Jane Thompson an Educational Technician at Rockland District High School. Thompson is recuperating from throat cancer and the benefit was held to help defray significant medical expenses. The benefit dinner raised just under $5,000.00.
