10/10/2005 Rockland Kiwanis
President Carol Kelley (left) presented Greg Hamlin a plaque
designating him Rockland Kiwanian of the Year. Joining in the
presentation is Hamlin¹s wife Shirley who can also be found helping
out at the many Kiwanis activities. This award is presented annually
to a member of the Rockland Kiwanis Club who has gone above and
beyond in their service to the club and the communities the Rockland
Kiwanis Club serves.

10/10/2005 The Mid-Coast
School of Technology Robotics Team, Kaizen Blitz ( Ky-zen: a Japanese term
meaning continual improvement ) spoke and gave a robot demonstration at a recent
Rockland Kiwanis meeting. The team made up of local motivated high school
students have just six weeks to build and plan for the competition solving an
engineering design problem in an intense and competitive setting. Pictured front
