08/01/2005 Rockland Kiwanis welcomed it¹s newest member Marjorie Kinney at a recent meeting. The induction was done by Sumner Kinney ( left ) who is not only a member of Rockland Kiwanis, he is also Kiwanis Division 4 Lieu tent Governor, as well as Marjorie¹s sponsor, husband, and business partner. The Kinney¹s own and operate Kinney Rentals in Thomaston.

07/25/2005  Peter Korn, right, Executive Director of The Center for Furniture Craftmanship receives a Kiwanis Mug from Rockland Kiwanis President Steve Poulin after speaking to the club at it¹s regular meeting. Korn spoke about the start of the center and the various one-week, two-week, twelve week and nine month programs they over to approximately 320 students who travel worldwide to the center in Rockport. The faculty is also made up of craftsmen from around the world.
