Kiwanis Grand Raffle 2005 drawing will be held July 10th at The North Atlantic
Blues festival. The grand prize is a 2005 Harley Davidson Softail Deluxe and a
6¹ x 10¹ Haulmark transport trailer with ramp door, a value of over $21,000.00
Second prize is $2,000.00 and third prize is $1,000.00. Reminding you to
purchase your raffle certificates soon is from left Carol Kelley,
President-Elect, holding a certificate, Keith Wass, sitting on the Harley and
ready to ride, Pete Cella, holding the keys to maybe your Harley and Barbara
Hersey who sold the winning ticket to last years winner. To purchase a ticket

tickets will be sold for this raffle and all proceeds are donated back to
the communities the Rockland Kiwanis Club serves.

Kiwanis donated a case of life preserver seat pads to Station Maine, an
organization of community members dedicated to offering boating opportunities to
youth of all ages in the mid-coast Maine area. Imprinted with the Station Maine
and Kiwanis logo Tristan Slaymaker ( left ) of Station Maine accepts a seat pad
from Rockland Kiwanis member John Batty.

Kiwanis inducted another new member at a recent meeting. Martha Klina, the
Executive Director of the Knox County Humane Society, was inducted by Sumner
Kinney ( left ) a member of the Rockland Kiwanis and Kiwanis Division 4 Lieu
tent Governor Klina was also joined by her sponsor John Batty.
