ahead? In order for the Rockland Kiwanis to award thousands of dollars to the
communities they serve they must do a number of fund raising events. One of
these is traffic control at the Owls Head Transportation museum, (Left to right
is Annette Burns, Lisa Willey, Lynn Taylor, Jane Dagley, and Carol Kelley)
directing traffic at a recent OHTM event.

05/23/2005 The Rockland
Kiwanis has awarded twelve scholarships totaling $13,500.00. Ed Miller,
Chairperson of the Kiwanis Scholarship committee, invited the students to lunch
and introduced each student to a round of applause and then a standing ovation.
The recipients are (front row) Thora Maltais, Loralie Frankin, and Kimberly
Watts, (second row) Karen Landry, Andrew Hansen and Briana Borkowski (back row)
Ashley Earl, Rockland Kiwanis President Elect Carol Kelley, Maggie Machaiek,
Patrick Norman, Tommy Rogers, Jenna Russell and Kimberly Prior.

Kiwanis inducted two new members at a recent meeting. Pictured from left to

sponsored Jayne Harper, Harper who is President of WellnesSphere a company which
does life coaching, evaluation and planning, Samantha "Sam" Czosneck who works
with her family in their business Rock Coast Sports, and her sponsor John Batty.
