06/12/2005 Construction ahead? In order for the Rockland Kiwanis to award thousands of dollars to the communities they serve they must do a number of fund raising events. 05/23/2005 The Rockland Kiwanis has awarded twelve scholarships totaling $13,500.00. Ed Miller, Chairperson of the Kiwanis Scholarship committee, invited the students to lunch and introduced each student to a round of applause and then a standing ovation. The recipients are (front row) Thora Maltais, Loralie Frankin, and Kimberly Watts, (second row) Karen Landry, Andrew Hansen and Briana Borkowski (back row) Ashley Earl, Rockland Kiwanis President Elect Carol Kelley, Maggie Machaiek, Patrick Norman, Tommy Rogers, Jenna Russell and Kimberly Prior.
