05/9/2005Rockland Kiwanis welcomes three new members. Sumner Kinney of Rockland Kiwanis and Division 4 Lieutenant Governor inducted three new members at a recent Kiwanis meeting. Pictured are from left Kinney, new members Mary Bumiller who is a real estate agent with Jaret & Cohn, John Batty who sponsored Bumiller and Burns, Annette Burns of Great Expectations, Barbara Brosius of Manpower and her sponsor Pete Cella. Rockland Kiwanis meets at the Samoset every Monday at noon and always welcomes new members.

Rockland Kiwanis President Steve Poulin ( left ) thanks Greg Marley for addressing the club at a recent meeting. Marley is the manager of the Mobile Crisis Team at MidCoast Mental Health. Marley spoke about the staggering figures of suicide, the signs to be aware of and how to help.

Kiwanis Donates $1,000.00. Paul Klainer ( left ) Director of Knox County Health Clinic received more than a Kiwanis coffee mug from Kiwanis President Steve Poulin after he spoke at a recent meeting. Inside the mug was a check for $1,000.00 to help the clinic continue the work it does in providing health, dental and prescription assistance.
